Flames Score

Flames Score is the central "scoring" mechanic within Flames. It's measured in Flames Points (FP) and starts at zero for brand new users.

The more FP you have, the higher your rank will go.

There are 10 ranks, each with a higher Flames Score requirement.

Earning Flames Points

There are a couple different ways you can earn FP. Below are some examples.

Daily Bonus

Running the /hi command once per day is an easy way to get lots of points quickly. It scales depending on how many days you've run the command, so each day you'll get more points than the previous day.

Participating in the Community

You'll passively collect a small amount of FP as you chat and participate in Flames communities. Messages spreading good vibes and positivity will net you more points. Inversely, negative-sounding messages may cause you to lose Flames points. Keep it real and be nice.

Thanks Bonus

If someone gives you thanks using the /thanks command, you'll receive 2,500 FP as a reward. Going out of your way to help others within your community goes a long way.

Quote of the Day

At the top of the Today panel (run /today), you'll see a quote that Flames selects throughout the day, depending on the content of the message. If your message is selected for Quote of the Day, you'll receive 1,000 FP.
